When you use DrinkOnMe we collect the information needed to process your gift: your name, payment details, any personal message you write, and any photo, video or voice message you attach.
Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe— we never see or store your full card number. Photos, videos and voice messages are stored on Vercel Blob Storage.
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. We only collect data that is necessary to provide the service, and we process it on the legal basis of contractual necessity (fulfilling your drink gift). You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time — just email us.
Claim records and any associated media are automatically deleted 30 days after the gift is created. Payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with their own data retention policies.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with Stripe and Vercel as described above, solely to provide the service.
